While cooking, a light went off in his mind and the onion samosa was invented. Thousands of people come to eat this invention. Shop owner Madhav told that his father Rajendra Gupta started this work 32 years ago. His father was very fond of eating and cooking. His father often used to invent something new in the kitchen with his mother. He also invented the onion samosa.

At that time the price used to be Rs 1
Father Rajendra Prasad Gupta started the business on 5 May 1992 by making the first onion samosa. The eaters loved the taste of the samosa. Since then, Pyaa ka samosa is the first choice of the shop. Any customer who eats a samosa once, definitely comes again. He told that 32 years ago the rate of samosa used to be ₹1. If we talk about today, in 2024, then considering the inflation, an onion samosa is sold for ₹14. Along with onion samosa, he also sells chilli paneer, potato, Manchurian samosa.

5000 plates are sold every day
Madhav says that the shop opens at 6.30 in the morning. There is a long queue of people for samosas from the time the shop opens till the time it closes. He said that about 5000 plates are sold every day. Samosas are prepared with 21 types of whole spices. Customer Kishori said that the onion samosa here is unbeatable.
